"I was NOT READY to train when I was pregnant with my first baby. I was nervous. Everyone around me was nervous. So I did "safe" things like walking a few times a week. Once the baby was out, I gave myself three months of rest before I was back at @thequad.in. My coaches were very patient and kind and got me back and beyond my old fitness levels in what felt like no time. I was doing challenges, getting my PRs and acing my push ups. And then I got pregnant again. I was elated but also a wee bit sad that I would be going down that slippery pregnancy slope again. Plus, at 37 it was considered a "geriatric pregnancy 🤦♀️ !⠀ .⠀ So I decided to do things differently. After my first trimester I started training at The Quad again. I was lucky enough to have a few other pregnant women to keep me company and we motivated each other throughout our pregnancies. Coach Raj carefully designed each of our training plans, depending upon which stage of pregnancy we were at and every coach at the centre was up to date on our workouts and closely monitored what we were doing at all points.⠀ .⠀ Thanks to the training sessions, I stayed active throughout my second pregnancy and felt less tired and cranky. In fact, I kept training and working till the last two weeks of my pregnancy.⠀ .⠀ The biggest advantage of prenatal strength training however came after delivery. My recovery was so much better than the first time around and I was up and about much quicker with a lot less pain and discomfort."⠀ .⠀ As Coach @raj.ganpath recalls, "I've worked with Mridula for over 7 years now and it's always been fun doing so! She made every effort to stay consistent and did as much quality work as she could based on how she felt that day. With so many years of training under her belt, her movement patterns were on point and so every programme she was on was truly safe and effective. But, most importantly, she took the time to communicate with us coaches about how she felt on each day. She's a champ!"

"I quit obsessing about my weight and started running and playing. I made fitness a habit, and naturally started looking, feeling and functioning better."
"I'm now living a life that's pain-free, allowing me to run my business like a powerhouse, spend evenings outside with family and friends, and even plan those vacations I've been meaning to take for years!"
