GPP is a type of training that is intended to prepare you for improved function in your daily life. Be it more stamina, more energy, increased strength, speed, flexibility or endurance, all of it is covered in the gamut of general physical preparedness.
When someone says "I want to improve my stamina", or "I want to be able have more energy during the day" or "I want to play with my kids" etc, they mean they are looking for some form of GPP which can directly be achieved at The Quad, thanks to our strength and conditioning format.
The GPP Model
Our GPP program is a collaborative effort. We provide expert guidance and structured training, while you bring your commitment and consistency to each session. Together, we achieve your fitness goals.
Realistic Goals
This isn't a rapid transformation program but a sustainable, comprehensive fitness plan. Our approach is practical and supportive, ensuring long-term success without judgement or intimidation.
Week 1 to Week 3 - Foundations
We start by reinforcing your foundational skills. Our focus is on refining your movement patterns and ensuring safe, effective training. You'll be tracked on consistency and assessed on your current fitness capabilities.
Week 4 to Week 8 - Skill Integration and Practice
With solid foundations, you'll integrate advanced skills into your workouts. This phase involves purposeful practice, weaving new techniques into a structured training plan for optimal progress.
Week 9 - Pause from classes
You will be taking a week of break from classes and use the time for practice and recovery.
Week 10 and 11 - Advanced Movement Coaching
Continue expanding your skillset with advanced bodyweight and kettlebell exercises. Our focus during these weeks is on further enhancing your strength, endurance, and mobility.
Week 12 to Week 20 - Training Action
We’ll work on testing your newly acquired skills, get you training in the main class
