What is the The Quad’s BootCamp™

The Quad’s BootCamp™ is an outdoor fitness experience like no other. Founded in 2011, it is designed to be a whole lot of fun, while giving you everything you need to become the fittest version of yourself.
Having worked with over 5000 people just in Chennai, it is for anyone who is looking to lose weight, get fit and make meaningful, long term changes to their health and fitness. All our outdoor centres follow social distancing and safety/hygiene norms prescribed by the government for indoor facilities. At times like this, it’s great to be outdoors, and also the safer option considering the pandemic.
Our training protocol is designed based on the fundamentals of strength training and functional fitness, while taking inspiration from the successes and failures of various training methodologies such as P90X, CrossFit, long-distance running, Olympic Lifting, kettlebell training, military training and so on – all aimed at helping you lose fat, become strong and feel healthier.

The idea behind The Quad’s BootCamp™
Safety. Progress. Fun! That’s our priority. We keep it fun, challenging and yet safe – it’ll leave you asking for more! The program, based on the fundamentals of strength training and functional fitness, is designed to be result-oriented, enjoyable and gets you to push beyond your comfort zone while keeping safety as an utmost priority. All you need to do is show up. Just like the hundreds of people we are working with everyday.
Don’t just workout, start training.
We don’t treat fitness as just a string of daily workouts, and you shouldn’t too. It makes no sense to do a random bunch of workouts from the internet or a DVD without a roadmap or a purpose. And the same goes for directionless workouts you would do in a gym with a bunch of machines.
At The Quad’s BootCamp™, the minimum duration you can sign up for is a 12-week program – no more failed one-month trial gym memberships! A 12-week duration is required to really make an impact, from correcting potential movement dysfunctions to getting used to the new things you will do, and most importantly, to see results – in the way you look, feel and function.
You need a structured training plan to achieve your fitness goals, and we take care of all the planning, structuring and designing.
All you need to do is just show up – in person or virtually!

The human body is one piece, and all the different parts need to be well-greased and in sync with each other. If one part is out of whack, it sets the entire system out of order. Your body is designed for movement and your muscles are created for strength. Once you begin to focus on these, losing weight becomes incidental and just a factor of your consistency.
The more you move, the easier it becomes. By working on functional movements, and through resistance training, we help your body move better, feel better, perform better, and without a doubt, look better.
Is The Quad’s BootCamp™ for you?
While The Quad is intended for people between the ages of 15 – 60 years, we make exceptions at both ends of the spectrum on an individual basis. There is absolutely NO pre-requisite level of fitness required, all you need is the desire and will to discover a healthier and fitter life.
Remember, fitness is not about being better than someone else. It is about being better than you used to be. And The Quad is essentially intended to be for anyone who wants to be fitter than they were yesterday and is willing to work towards this goal.
Are You a Newbie to Exercise and Fitness?
Does the thought of exercise make you uncomfortable? Have you always found yourself moaning to go to the gym? Almost everyone who trains at The Quad today started off exactly where you are right now – an absolute newbie with no physical training or sport background. And today, not just are they seeing phenomenal results in their fitness and health, but are enjoying every minute of the process of getting there.
The truth is, everyone has to start somewhere. Every individual has their own rate of progress and development, so don’t fret if you are a newbie to the world of fitness and health.
When you begin at The Quad, we work with you individually to understand your current movement patterns. If we identify any dysfunction that’s causing you pain, that will first be addressed by a doctor or a physiotherapist. We have an in-house physiotherapist who will work with you to help you become pain-free, after which you can begin your training.
Covid-19 advisory: If you have suffered from Covid-19 in the past, you can begin exercise once you recover, after a few weeks with the approval from your doctor. We’ve been working with some of our students who had tested positive, and slow and steady is the best way to go. Please mention the same when you reach out to us, and we’ll be happy to talk to you about it in detail.

Locations & Timings
We have 4 locations across the city in central areas – Alwarpet, Gandhi Nagar, Indira Nagar and Velacheri.
Your classes are only 3 days a week – either Monday+Wednesday+Friday OR Tuesday+Thursday+Saturday.
All sessions are OUTDOORS (less risk of Covid transmissions), socially distanced and sanitised thoroughly. The duration will be 1-hour per session – hover over each location to find out specific timings, and click on the map icon for directions!
