Of everything I have ever done to improve my fitness, The Quad's BootCampTM is by the far the most effective, enjoyable and rewarding! I have now reached a new level of fitness - and I'm still improving! Best of all, The Quad's BootCampTM is never repetitive. You never know what is in store each morning until you start doing it. With the constantly positive (yet firm) encouragement from Raj, Arvind and The Quad team, you learn to dig deep and keep going. After each session you feel like you've really achieved something great.
I was a member of a local gym for about 3 years but was not getting the results I wanted because I was not the sort of person who would push myself to achieve those results. My life is very busy, with our own business, 2 children, a busy social life and other commitments. It was very easy to make excuses to not go the gym. I thought why pay for something and not use it, so I quit the gym, I was on the lookout for something to do, when I heard about The Quad looking to start in Chennai. I was very happy to be part of the The Quadʼs BootCamp TM from day 1. I needed to be motivated and pushed to achieve my results. I also needed some "ME" time, as well. At my first session, I thought to myself "Oh my God girl, you are so unfit". I could hardly make it through the burpees and managed to struggle through 5 push ups. Now, a year later, I ran around the Kodai lake in 26 minutes, which is a personal triumph for myself, and now when I hear "Give me 40 burpees!", am like "sure". My fitness is improving all the time and the motivation not only comes from the great staff at The Quad but from within me as well, as I suppose I've realised I can do this and I can do whatever I set my mind to. Now, there's no stopping me. I am slowly losing body fat and can see myself looking better!
My main aim when I joined The Quad's BootCampTM was to lose weight and get fit. After only 4 weeks, I dropped a dress size, gained heaps of energy, and while I may not be as fit as some of my BootCamp team mates, I can confidently say that I'm getting there!. I have tried gyms, aerobics, walking and dieting, but have always faced the problem of a lack of motivation, no time, and tend to get really bored. With The Quadʼs BootCamp TM, it's at a time that is really convenient for me, there is a lot of motivation and encouragement, it is definitely not boring and is just three hours a week.
