Professional athletes, budding athletes, folks with a serious passion in sport - all train with us in the Sports Performance class. The overarching goal is to get them better at their sport - whether it is distance running, racquet sports, ultimate frisbee, football or anything in between. We work on the generic attributes one needs to be a better athlete (get stronger!), and on sport-specific attributes that will help improve your technical skills on the field.
What work we do depends on the athlete, their goals, their strengths, their weaknesses. We work on basics like better hip stabilization and glute activation to reduce knee pain and IT band issues for runners, to honing cutting techniques for our footballers and ultimate players, and a gamut of stuff in-between. We work on strengths, we work on weaknesses, we work on everything that the athlete needs - including sports nutrition, peaking for a tournament, periodization.
