What is the The Quadʼs BootCamp TM?

The Quadʼs BootCamp TM is a fun, outdoor, group training experience unlike any other.

It is a method of training that is conceptualized based on the successes and failures of our founder-coaches Arv and Raj with various training methods - P90X, CrossFit, long-distance running, triathlon training, barbell strength training, Olympic Lifting, Kettlebell training, calisthenics, plyometrics - to name a few.

How many kilos can I lose in 3 months?

Everyone's genetic profile is different, and your current state of health is also a determining factor. Most folks who are committed to eating a real food diet and regular training see consistent fat loss. In some cases, due to hormonal imbalances or nutritional deficiencies, folks might not be able to lose weight. We will help you correct this, and restore your health, and kick-start the fat loss process.

So, while we do not have a direct answer to your question, if you show up to class regularly and eat per our recommendations, you can expect to lose anywhere from 0.5% to 1% of your bodyweight per week.

Do I have to go on a crazy diet?

Absolutely not. Here's how we approach it. We give you a short primer on nutrition for health and fat loss. You log your food intake for a couple of days. This will help you understand what you really eat on a daily basis. Now, using the knowledge you gain from reading the primer, you will modify your current diet and send that across to us. We will tweak your diet to help you achieve your goals. We might change things wholesale or go for a piecemeal approach, depending on you, your goals, and your preferred method. It doesn't matter if you eat 6 small meals a day, or just 1 meal a day. As long as the focus is on food quality, you can achieve your goal!

Calorie counting and crash diets don't work over the long-term because they drive you insane. What we most often see is a few days or weeks of crash diets, and then a spate of binge eating. To keep the fat off permanently, you need a sustainable and consistent way of eating real food. We will guide you through this process. If you are someone who requires a bit more help, we offer a more instructed nutritional consultation program.

Fat loss and looking good is an awesome side-effect of improved health and performance.

I want to make sure this is right for me. Is it too intense?

You will progress at your own pace. The first three weeks are spent in teaching the basics, and getting you oriented. This will give you a chance to ease in, as well as learn new movement techniques, assess dysfunctional patterns and work on a corrective exercise routine.

Some of the movements we do might make you go "I don't think I can ever do that". But you can, and will. The best solution is to swing by for a trial class, which will give you the experience of training at The Quadʼs BootCamp TM. You can take a call after that.

Only 3 hours a week? But I thought I am supposed to work out 6 days a week at least

More is not necessarily better. Better is better. Stress level, both physical and mental, are at an all-time high for kids, retired folks and everyone in between. Working out, while it feels great, is also an added stressor on the body. Eventually, you will wear your body down. The smarter way to train is to leave each session stronger than when you came in to it. And for that, you need ideal rest periods.

I have already tried out weight training and cardio and everything. I am not entirely sure this will work for me.

It works for 9/10 people, but that also means it doesn't work for that one person in ten too. Our methods are scientifically proven, field-tested and verified. And we constantly tweak and tinker to make individual customizations to ensure it works for you. Will I get enough personal attention? I am a rather unique snowflake, and will require more attention.

Yes, totally. You will be coached on new movements right at the start, until you are comfortable with them. And you will also be working with a coach to guide you on your nutrition and lifestyle habits. While at the BootCamp, you will have several watchful eyes on you, who will motivate, cue, fix your form, and aid you in kicking ass.
