The Quadʼs BootCampTM / What is it
What is the The Quadʼs BootCamp TM?
The Quadʼs BootCamp TM is a fun, outdoor training experience unlike any other. It is a method of training that is shaped by the successes and failures of our founder-coaches Arvind and Raj with various training methods - P90X, CrossFit, long-distance running, triathlon training, barbell strength training, Olympic Lifting, Kettlebell training - to name a few.
The idea is simple.
You show up 3 hours a week, in your designated batch. You will be guided about what to eat, and how to eat to achieve your goals. Maintain a compliance rate of over 80%, and the proof is in the results. By making training a regular, scheduled event in your life, your chances of compliance sky-rocket. And our nutritional guidance is meant to be minimally-invasive to fit in with your current eating schedule and practices.
Movement, not muscles.
The human body is one piece, and all the different parts need to be well-greased and in sync with each other. If one part is out of whack, it sets the entire system out of order. For example, if your hips have lost mobility, then your lower back will compensate for it, and do things that it is not supposed to do. This is why it is important to think movement, and not muscles. By working on functional movements, and through resistance training, we help your body move better, feel better, perform better, and invariably, look better.
Our philosophy is to train, and not to have folks do random workouts.
The Quadʼs BootCampTM duration is 12 weeks, although most of our clients work with us for extended periods of time. A 12-week duration is required to really make an impact, from correcting potential movement dysfunctions to getting used to the new things you will do, and most importantly, to see results - in both performance and aesthetics. You will feel like a new person at the end of this experience. And your job is to show up - just 3 hours a week!
The Quadʼs BootCampTM is for folks between the ages of 15 and 60,
but we do make exceptions on both ends, on a case-by-case basis. There is absolutely no pre-requisite level of fitness required, although any kind of dysfunction that results in pain needs to be addressed by a physio or a doctor before you come to us. Don't worry, everyone has to start somewhere, and everyone has their individual rate of development. When you start off, we work with you on fundamental movements, and once your patterns are great (you can take however long you need), you will be a part of the regular class.
